A Long Weekend in Exeter — Private Chef Meals, No Kitchen Required

When it comes to spending quality time with friends or family, nothing says luxury like having your meals taken care of. For Adrian and his guests, a four-day retreat to the Southern Highlands was made all the more special thanks to a curated drop-off menu—chef-prepared meals delivered fresh and ready to enjoy.

Tucked away at a private residence on in Exeter, the weekend was a chance to reconnect, relax, and indulge—without the stress of planning, cooking, or cleaning.

The culinary journey began on Thursday with a warming seasonal soup, delivered just in time for a cosy evening in. By Friday, the flavours deepened with a rustic Italian dinner of Pollo alla Cacciatora—tender chicken slow-cooked in tomato, olives, and rosemary—served alongside patate arrosto, golden roast potatoes with garlic and olive oil.

Saturday's menu turned things up a notch with a celebratory feast for ten. Delivered chilled and ready for the oven, the spread included:

  • Whole roasted organic chicken with lemon and rosemary

  • Little Joe’s roasted sirloin with horseradish, mustard, and jus

  • Creamy potato gratin

  • Seasonal vegetables and garlic-roasted roots

  • A crisp green salad with mustard and caper dressing

  • Rich chocolate brownies served with ice cream for dessert and panna cotta

The weekend wrapped with a perfect Sunday lunch: a pork and fennel sausage ragù with rigatoni and Pecorino Romano, garlic bread, porchetta slices, and a fresh green salad—classic comfort food elevated for a long lunch in the countryside.

Throughout the weekend, meals were tailored to guest numbers and dietary needs, with a mix of drop-off and pick-up times designed to suit their schedule. No coordination needed. No shopping list required.

Just beautiful food, delivered to the door, so everyone could focus on what matters: being together.
